Who has an issue with time? What about keeping appointments? How do you make sure you get to where you need to be and on time? Do you keep a daily calendar or some other organizational tool? I didn’t use to have this problem. I’m not quite sure why? What did I use to do that I’m not doing now, is the question I have been asking myself. How did I always use to remember and why is it so much more difficult right now. I know having one more kid hasn’t killed my memory that bad or that quickly.
So as I thought about it I remember that my calendar use to be easily accesable. It was usually kept at my desk and I didn’t have a little one touching all my stuff or a husband moving all my stuff, and the little one doesn’t know how to keep his fingers to himself yet. Now my calendar is still by my desk. It’s even easy to see but it’s in the back corner next to my desk and while I can see it, it’s too far away to be able to read it due to the baby gate being there. Also I have to climb over the baby gate instead of being able to just walk through it.
If you think about it….That’s alot of obstacles. So what I did is I went out and bought me a calendar/ planner. I put a reminder on my phone to look at it twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening when things start to settle down at the house. If I can make this a habit then I think it will help me feel more relaxed concerning appointments, time and organization in general. I have been meaning to check out some organizational stuff through Abby@justagirlandherblog.com but I just haven’t had extra time lately.
My time lately has been spent trying to get my site up and running well and on creating new habits that are good so that hopefully its more easy to let go of the bad ones. Everything you see on here is something that I have been trying to do myself and of course with the help of God. I know I’m not the only one out there who wants to better themselves. Wheather they are trying to better themselves healthwise or financially. Most of us have a desire to make ourselves better and we all have different reasons for it. If you have ever considered working from home click here.
One of my main goals recently has been to reduce stress. As I have been having alot of hormonal issues stress has been a big deal, and to me …time is a big deal. It is one of my biggest stressers. Feeling like I’m being rushed or like there isn’t enough of it to go around. Always I need more time. AAAAAAAhhhhhhhh. So the daily calendar might be a good habit to get into. We will see.
What kind of habits do you keep concerning time and appointments? How do you stay organized?
